The Art of Blissful Persistence

We’ve all been there. You have a "Big Dream"—the kind that makes your heart skip a beat and your palms a little sweaty. But then, the "logic" kicks in. We start to worry about the "who do you think you are?" comments or the stinging silence of a non-response.

In my work as a coach, I see so many women stall out because they’ve been taught that discipline has to feel like a grind and tenacity has to feel like a fight.

I’d like to offer you a different vibration. It’s time to lean into two tools I’ve used to navigate my own wildest dreams: Determinacity and Blissapline.

The Secret Sauce: Determinacity & Blissapline

Determinacity is that gorgeous hybrid of rock-solid determination and tireless tenacity. It’s the "inner yes" that refuses to be quieted.

But how do we keep that fire lit without burning out? That’s where Blissapline comes in. Usually, "discipline" feels like a heavy "should." But Blissapline is approaching your goals with eagerness and excitement. It is the practice of staying in the energy of joyful anticipation.

According to the Law of Attraction, we don’t attract what we want; we attract who we are vibrating as. When you show up with Blissapline, you aren't desperate; you are expectant. You are in a state of allowing.

A Two-Year Lesson in "Go for NO"

I recently put these concepts to the ultimate test. For years, I have considered His Holiness the Dalai Lama a mentor and a beacon of compassionate leadership. In fact, the very foundation of my new book, Ignite Your Life’s Purpose; and Save the World, was deeply inspired by his teachings on feminine leadership, global responsibility, and the power of a kind heart.

Because the work was so rooted in his wisdom, I had a dream: I wanted him to be a part of it. I wanted the source of my inspiration to help carry the message to the world.

Most people would say that’s a "long-shot" (and believe me, I saw that look in a few people's eyes!).

The Power of Keeping Your Dreams Under Wraps

Jerry Hicks once suggested keeping your ideas to yourself until they are fully developed so you can align them with your true purpose without outside interference. The reason this "quiet time" is so important is that it protects your vibration. If you're interested in the science behind this, I love this video: The Surprising Power of Keeping Quiet About Your Plans. It explains that when we share too early, we often invite the opinions of people who only see our past, not our future. By practicing Blissapline, you stay in your "invincible worthy beloved creative genius vibration" [02:45] until your dream is strong enough to stand on its own.

I took Jerry's advice to heart. I held my vision close and practiced a technique from my old sales days called "Go for NO." (If you’ve never heard of it, I highly recommend the book Go for No! Yes is the Destination, No is How You Get There by Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz.)

The goal isn't to be a nuisance; it’s to keep the door open until it is officially slammed shut. Most humans give up after only a time or two of asking, assuming a "no" when, in fact, the right eyes, the right person, or the right timing simply hasn't arrived yet.

Here's what happened:

Year One: I corresponded with the office of the Dalai Lama. Total silence.

The First Response: It was kind, but it wasn't an invitation. Many would have seen this as a "polite no." I saw it as a "not yet."

The Pivot: I sent chapters, then the manuscript. I addressed concerns. I waited months at a time.

Nearly two years in, I received an email. They noted my attention to detail and my commitment to His Holiness' message of compassion. Attached was a beautiful Foreword written by the Dalai Lama himself. I cried. I called my mom. I sat in the sheer bliss of a "long-shot" becoming a reality.

The Next Step: Flexing the "Allowing" Muscle

Now, I’m in a new phase of Determinacity. I am currently seeking a literary agent to bring this book to the world.

If I’m honest, this part requires a skill I’m still perfecting: Patience. The publishing world can be tedious and riddled with rejection. But I am choosing to meet this season with Blissapline. Instead of white-knuckling the results, I am leaning on my "allowing" muscle. I am staying in the vibration of the completed book, the lives it will touch, and the Save the World Sisterhood movement we are building together.

Now, It’s Your Turn

What is that "Long-Shot" dream whispered in your heart?

In the spirit of Blissapline, I want to create a space for you to claim that energy right here. You don’t have to share the details if they aren't fully formed yet—remember, we are protecting your vibration while it matures!

🌟If you're ready to declare it: Share your dream in the comments below.

🌟If it’s still "under wraps": Simply comment "I Have a Dream" to signal to the Universe (and this sisterhood) that you are stepping into your own Determinacity.

I’ll be in the comments cheering you on and holding the vision of your success. Let’s flex that "allowing" muscle together!

With love and determinacity,
