Our Story
Founded in Breckenridge, Colorado 11-11-22, the WholeYOU Retreat gathers midlife women to reconnect, reclaim and relaunch their lives. Midlife is not a number. It is represented by women who have lived some life and are experiencing life transitions like divorce, empty nest, caregiving for family, elderly parents, hormones, career changes and so much more. If you are a woman in a life transition who seeks clarity, personal growth, and connection to your Passions, Purpose and People, embrace this opportunity to create new connections and surround yourself with a like-minded tribe of women. Join us amidst the majestic peaks of the Colorado Rockies; among the tropical jungles, volcanic hills, lakes, and plummeting waterfalls of Costa Rica; or among the sun-drenched coastal villages, sprawling ancient olive groves, and unique trulli homes of Puglia, Italy.

Founder Brenda Ridgley, an author and Mindvalley certified midlife coach had a dream. Her vision was to bring women together to
connect, grow, and help each of them step into her divine feminine spirit and launch into her next chapter. Along with Brenda's collaborator, Stacey Stedman - author and certified health and fitness coach, with guest thought leaders, together, they create a loving, empowering, and accepting space for women to connect to their own authenticity and with each other.

As we embark on a new age and the awakening of the divine feminine spirit, we find ourselves disconnected…

Disconnected from our passions. We feel lost, stagnant, and unsatisfied. We often lack a sense of joy and direction. We have lost our inner compass. We have pushed away our intuition, we do not embrace our bodies, and we struggle to clear our minds and create space for our creativity. We rarely nurture our innate gifts and interests. We are treading water, living in service to the aspirations of others, but not feeling connected to our own.

Disconnected from our purpose. For years and perhaps decades, we have denied our divine identity in the service of our roles as wife, mother, and professional. For so many years, doing has been our identity, so much so that being has felt like laziness, an indulgence, and just bad. We have learned to disregard our own needs, our souls, and our friendships, and instead we focused on nurturing others, “mom-aging” their activities and social lives.

Disconnected from our people. Relationships outside of our family have become superficial. We don’t feel fully seen, heard, or understood. We aren’t sure how we fit in and where we belong outside of our roles. We are surrounded by people, yet we feel lonely.
